Ali Island is located northeast of Aitape Town, and the island is easily reached by a 30-40 minute boat ride.  The island is known for its peaceful atmosphere and the hospitality provided by the islanders. Locals are always interested in meeting tourist, and showing them local hot spots and cultural traditions.
